Agreement
These terms govern your use of the Motionstack website and services. By using the site you agree to them. If you are entering into a dataset agreement, that signed agreement controls where it differs from these terms.
Our services
Motionstack sources, captures, and delivers real-world human training data. We own the datasets we produce and license them to buyers. Licenses are granted per delivered, QA'd hour, with the exclusivity tier set out in your order: non-exclusive catalog, time-boxed exclusive, or full exclusive.
Licenses and ownership
Unless your order states otherwise, you receive a license to use a dataset, not ownership of it. Non-exclusive datasets may be licensed to others. Time-boxed exclusive datasets enter the catalog after the exclusive window. Full buyouts are handled in the signed order.
Acceptable use
Use the site and any delivered data lawfully and in line with your license and applicable law, including data-protection and AI-training regulations. Do not attempt to re-identify or misuse personal data in delivered datasets.
Contributor content
Captured media is provided under contributor releases. If a contributor withdraws consent, we will remove the affected media and notify you. You agree to delete withdrawn media from active use on reasonable notice.
Warranties and liability
We provide the site as is. Specific warranties and liability terms for delivered data are set out in your dataset agreement. Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
Changes
We may update these terms. Material changes will be reflected by the date below. Continued use after an update means you accept the revised terms.
